Israel

It had ALWAYS been my dream to go to Israel and see the Holy City. I had two sisters that did a study abroad there, and my parents took a tour with my aunts and uncles. I had heard such amazing things.

With the way mission and school worked out, it didn't make sense for me to do the study abroad. But when Randy and graduated BYU, we decided we would take a big graduation trip. We went to Israel. It was amazing.

We stayed in AirBnBs and ate dried fruit and shawarma. Still dreaming about the food. So yummy. But each day, we walked where Jesus walked. It was like nothing I had ever done before. what made it so special was that we had read the four gospels together in preparation for the trip. The events that took place at each site were made so much more real as I now had a place to picture in my mind.

Jerusalem Old City, Bethlahem, Nazareth, Galilee and the Dead Sea. It was perfect.
